Automatically Creating News Articles
Set up to five themes, and Sorabun checks new stories every day and turns the ones worth writing about into articles. This page covers the source, time window and post status settings, how a story is chosen, and why you should review news articles before publishing.
Set a theme, and new stories become articles
Under "Sorabun > Schedule / Social Auto-Post" there's a News Watcher. Register the themes you want to monitor, and it picks up new stories on those themes and turns them into articles.

Breaking-news topics are prone to errors, and the impact of a mistake is larger. We strongly recommend an operation where you leave articles as drafts and always have a person review them before publishing.
How a story is chosen
Once a day, the News Watcher goes through these steps for each theme (Pro).
- It collects new headlines: up to 10 Google News headlines with RSS, or the results of a Google search with AI-powered search
- It drops headlines it has already handled in the past 60 days, so the same story doesn't add an article every day
- From what's left, the AI picks the single headline most worth writing about. It skips stories outside your site's theme and ones that are hard to explain, such as breaking alerts, stock prices, personnel changes and sports results. If nothing qualifies, nothing is created that day
- If the target keyword aims at the same search as an existing article, no article is created
Each theme produces at most one article a day. The AI decides the length and the number of diagrams, and the optimization type, tone and featured image follow "Settings > Generation defaults."
RSS (the default) takes the headlines exactly as they are published. It needs no API key and costs nothing extra, and the AI only decides which story to write about. You can also use Google News search syntax ("exact match" and OR) in the theme field. AI-powered search costs one search per theme.
How are quotes and sources handled?
News articles include a link to the source. The text is not copied verbatim from other outlets' articles, but please verify the facts against primary sources.
