Not just a news feed, but a sorted one
Under "Sorabun > Global SEO News," Sorabun gathers SEO news from overseas once a day (Pro).
Most primary-source SEO information is in English, and there's far too much of it. Following all of it isn't realistic, but missing something like a core update (where failing to act can drop your rankings) is a real problem too. So Sorabun sorts what it gathers into three groups.

Items in "Likely needs action" appear at the top. The menu shows a badge with the number of unread items.
Notifications only for "needs action"
You're only notified when something lands in "Likely needs action" (using the destination set under Settings > Notifications).
If news arrives every day, you'll eventually stop opening it. A notification you no longer open is the same as no notification at all. That's why we keep the volume low.
Cross-checked against your ranking history
When something like a core update appears, Sorabun cross-checks it against the ranking history it has already recorded and surfaces keywords that dropped from that day onward.
"There was an update" alone doesn't tell you what to do. You can only act once you see exactly where your own site was affected. This doesn't use a search API, so it doesn't cost you anything extra.

No extra API key is required (fetching RSS uses WordPress's built-in mechanism).
Any feed that couldn't be fetched is shown on screen along with the reason. If it silently showed zero items, you wouldn't be able to tell whether "there's no news today" or "the fetch failed."
What gets saved
Only the headline, a link to the original article, and Sorabun's own short summary are saved. The body text of the overseas article is never imported.
Japanese headlines and summaries are added only for items that end up in "Likely needs action" or "Good to know." Summarizing everything would run up AI usage costs, so this two-stage filter keeps things narrow.
