Short Links
Create redirect URLs on your own domain and track clicks
Change the destination without touching the article
Under the "Short Links" tab in "Sorabun > Measure / Analyze," you can create redirect URLs on your own domain (Pro).
This is more readable than pasting a long ad URL directly, and you can change the destination without rewriting the link in your article. If an ad URL you've pasted into 100 articles changes, you only need to fix it in one place.
What to decide when creating one
- Name: A name for your own reference
- Destination URL (required)
- Short link slug: The part that follows
/go/ - Category (optional): Categories you've already entered show up as suggestions, which keeps naming consistent
- Auto-link keyword (optional): Explained below
Redirect type
| Type | When to use it |
|---|---|
| 301 (permanent redirect, default) | When you don't expect the destination to change |
| 302 (temporary redirect) | When you plan to change the destination later |
| 307 (temporary, preserves the request) | For things like a form submission destination |
Browsers cache 301s aggressively, so even after you change the destination, some visitors may keep landing on the old one.
nofollow / sponsored
Add these to ad and affiliate links. They tell search engines, "this is an ad."
Reading the click count
Sorabun records both the click count and the unique visitor count (excluding a repeat visit from the same person). Non-human traffic, such as search-engine bots, is not counted.
Auto-linking
Register a keyword, and whenever it appears in the body text, it's automatically turned into a link at display time.
The article's stored data is never touched. Turn the feature off and the text reverts to plain text, so changing your mind later never breaks the article.
What's never turned into a link:
- Text that's already a link
- Inside headings
- Inside code
The same keyword is linked at most once per article (you can change the limit up to 5). Longer keywords are matched first, so even if you've registered "LINE," "LINE集客プラン" (LINE marketing plan) won't get chopped up.
Managing categories
You can filter the list by category. In category management, renaming a category applies to every link in it at once. Leaving the new name blank deletes the category (the links themselves aren't deleted).
