Evidence Lab (AI interviews and source ledger)

Turn firsthand experience into sourced drafts and keep cited facts up to date

Who can use it

Open "Sorabun > Evidence Lab" in Pro or the Cloud edition. An administrator account and a valid license are required because the ledger contains site-wide facts.

Collect facts through an interview

1. Enter a topic under "AI interview" and ask the AI to prepare questions.
2. Optionally enter the ID of a published post you can edit. Up to 8,000 characters of its content are sent to your configured AI. This feature does not search the web.
3. Choose a question you can answer. Record the actual finding, source, verification date, method, and limitations. The AI does not invent answers or performance figures.
4. Confirm that every field is suitable for publication, then save the fact. "Save input for later" stores one unfinished entry per user.

Generating questions uses API credits or your Cloud allowance. Manual entry, ledger storage, draft creation, and update review do not call the AI.

Create a sourced draft

Select 1 to 10 facts in the source ledger and enter a title. The draft preserves your exact words and numbers in Custom HTML blocks with sources, verification dates, methods, and limitations.

Add an introduction and analysis in the post editor, then review before publishing. These posts are always created as drafts, even when the default publishing setting is "Published". The ledger holds up to 100 facts.

When a fact changes

1. Edit the fact and verification date in the ledger. Saving the fact does not change any post.
2. Open "Articles and updates" to find posts using an older version.
3. Review the before and after, then apply the change to the selected post. Applying a change to a published post updates its live content.

Only the selected evidence block is replaced. Review surrounding explanations, tables, and FAQs separately if they repeat the same information. Automatic replacement stops if a block was manually edited, removed, or duplicated. You must review again if the post or fact changed after the preview, or another user is editing the post.

Tracking covers drafts created by this lab. Existing articles, text copied into other posts, and facts used by the legacy "Firsthand data" prompt are not detected automatically. You can copy legacy entries into the ledger without changing the original settings.
