Automatically post to X, Facebook Pages, and Instagram when you publish an article
From publishing straight through to announcing it
Under the "SNS Auto-Posting" tab at the top of "Sorabun > Schedule / Distribution," you can have Sorabun automatically post to X (formerly Twitter), Facebook Pages, and Instagram when an article is published (Pro).
The AI reads the article and writes separate post copy for each platform. Reusing the same text everywhere would leave it half-fitting on every one of them.

Posting options
- When published: posts automatically
- Target articles: all articles (including ones you wrote by hand) / only articles Sorabun created
- Post copy: the AI reads the article and writes it / just the title and URL (no AI)
- Number of hashtags: configurable
Choose "just the title and URL" to automate the announcement without incurring any AI usage cost.
Reviewing before posting
There's a "create a draft and review before posting" mode. The post copy is prepared right in the article's edit screen, so you can edit it before it goes out.
If you're not fully comfortable with automatic posting yet, this is the safer place to start.
No duplicate posting
The same article is never posted twice.
- Reverting an article to draft and republishing it doesn't create another post
- Restoring an article from the trash doesn't create another post either
If a post went out every time an article's publish state flipped back and forth, followers would see it as the same account posting the same thing repeatedly. Sorabun prevents this by recording, per article, whether it has already been posted.
Connection settings
Get keys from each platform's developer settings and paste them into the screen. "Open developer portal" in the settings screen takes you to where you get each one.
Facebook Pages and Instagram require a Page / professional account, not a personal account.
Posting well-performing articles to X later (resurfacing posts)
Auto-posting at publish time happens only once per article. But an article often doesn't start getting search traffic until months after publishing, so the articles that get read the most tend to be the ones you announced the longest ago.
That's why there's a "resurfacing posts" section below on the same screen. You pick well-performing articles, the AI writes X post copy from their content, and you schedule a date and time.
How articles are selected
Sorabun judges "performing well" using one of the following, tried in order, using whichever is available.

If neither is available, the list is empty. Sorabun never labels an article as "performing well" without evidence.
Creating a month's worth at once
Besides picking articles one at a time, you can prepare a batch at once with "Create 30 days of posts."
- Sorabun selects as many well-performing articles as needed (excluding ones already posted recently)
- It writes copy with different angles from each article and automatically places them into open time slots
- As each one is ready, it goes into "Awaiting review"
Writing the copy happens gradually in the background. Waiting on a single click for dozens of AI responses risks the process cutting off partway through with no way to tell what was actually created. It keeps running even if you close the screen.
Posts created in a batch go into "Awaiting review" and won't post until you look them over and press "Approve all." You can also edit or delete individual posts. Once something is posted to X, it can't be taken back, so always review posts while you're getting started.
Once you're comfortable trusting it, you can switch "After creating" in the settings to "Skip review, schedule directly."
Deciding what times to post
In "Posting times," list the exact times you want posts to go out. For example, entering 08:00 and 20:00 gives you one post in the morning and one in the evening, two a day.
The number of times you list is exactly how many posts go out per day. This isn't a range like "sometime between X and Y." Exactly when each post goes out is fixed from the start.

You can set up to six times. That said, 2-3 a day is a reasonable target, since X reduces visibility when the same account's posts appear back-to-back, so the more you post, the less reach each individual post gets.
Choose times when you can reply to responses for 30 minutes to 2 hours after posting. Whether a conversation continues matters more than anything else.
How post copy is written
Press "Create post drafts" and Sorabun writes multiple posts from that article, each with a different angle (2 by default). Since the same article gets posted more than once, there'd be no point posting the same text every time.
The AI is instructed to "draw on a different part of the article each time." Simply telling it to "vary the angle" tends to produce posts that just reword the same content.
The drafts it creates are not yet scheduled. Check the copy and the date/time, tick the ones you want to send, and then schedule them.
Tuned to how posts actually perform
In 2026, X overhauled its recommendation system: it retired manual rules like bonus points for hashtags and switched to learning "what reaction a given post gets" instead. To fit that, we've made the following the defaults.

The instructions given to the AI also include: stop the scroll in the first line / keep it to 8 lines or fewer including blank lines (so it doesn't get truncated on mobile) / never include a line asking for likes, reposts, or follows (this is treated as spam behavior and reduces visibility) / never ask a question with an obvious answer.
For the post's format, the AI chooses whichever fits the article's content from five patterns: a mistake warning, a contrarian take, a number, a list, or a surprising fact.
To avoid posting in rapid succession, even if two scheduled posts land at the same time, Sorabun spaces them at least 30 minutes apart. Even if cron stopped and a backlog built up, it won't send them all at once. Posting several in quick succession is treated as spam behavior.
It's long been said that "putting a link in the body tanks reach," but X stopped that penalty in October 2025 and has since stated it "hasn't penalized links for over a year." So by default, the link goes in the body.
You can also choose to "attach it as the post's first reply," but that uses two X API write calls for a single post, cutting the number of posts you can send in half. Try this only if you specifically notice that posts with links underperform (if the reply fails, the main post stays posted as-is, so the same text is never posted twice).
Right now, what X weighs most heavily is "whether a conversation continued" and "the reaction right after posting," with the poster themselves replying to responses mattering especially strongly. Check for replies within 30 minutes to 2 hours of posting.
If you post and walk away, even good copy won't perform. Schedule your posts for times when you'll be free afterward.
Learning from what you've posted
This is the heart of this feature. Rather than post and forget, Sorabun measures the reaction and feeds it into the next post.
- Three days after a post goes out, Sorabun pulls that post's engagement from the X API exactly once (the numbers keep moving right after posting)
- It tallies results by the post's format (mistake warning, contrarian take, number, list, surprising fact)
- Once it's clear which format is working, that gets passed to the AI the next time it writes post copy
Engagement is weighted with replies counting the most and likes the least. What X currently weighs most heavily is conversation, and a like is just received. It isn't a conversation (reply ×5, quote ×3, repost ×2, like ×1).
This is the most important part. Deciding "this format works" off the results of just 2-3 posts means getting pulled along by one post that happened to do well, and then generating the wrong format over and over from then on. Since nothing visibly happens on screen, you'd never notice it was wrong.
So Sorabun shows nothing and passes nothing to the AI until all of these conditions are met:
- At least 12 posts with measured results
- At least 5 posts for each format being compared
- The top format gets at least 1.5x the engagement of the others
Comparisons use the median, not the average, so that one post that happened to spike doesn't get mistaken for proof that its format is superior.
Deleted posts can't be measured. In that case, Sorabun just marks it as "measured" so it doesn't keep querying for it every time.
Calendar
Scheduled posts appear in purple on the "Schedule" calendar. Posted ones turn gray. They sit on the same calendar as scheduled article posts (green) and automatic generation runs (blue), so you can see everything that's coming up in one place.
Guardrails against posting too much
The X API caps how many writes you can make, and once you use them up, you can't post again until the quota resets. That's why "posts per day" defaults to a conservative 2. Check your plan's quota before raising it.
- Anything over the posts-per-day limit isn't dropped. It carries over and gets sent the next day
- Set a posting window and candidate times are chosen only from within that range
- Scheduled copy can be edited or canceled at any time before it sends
- If an article is reverted to draft or deleted, its scheduled post won't send (this prevents a post with a dead link from staying up on X)
- Failed sends are retried up to 3 times; if it still fails, you'll be told via notifications
Turn off "Send scheduled posts" and Sorabun will create the schedule without actually posting. Use this when you want to build up a backlog of copy before you start sending.
