Internal Link Map
Record which article links to which, with what anchor text, and see orphan articles and where internal links gather
A record of how your internal links look right now
"Sorabun > Measure / Analyze > Internal Link Map" records which article links to which article, and with what words (anchor text) across your site (Pro).
Sorabun adds internal links when it writes an article, but once you edit the text by hand or move an article back to draft, the links change. This screen keeps both how they look now and how they got there.
- It records automatically every time an article is saved, whether Sorabun wrote it or you did
- Links that disappear aren't deleted from the record. It keeps when they were removed
- Only links inside the article body count. Menu and sidebar links appear on every article, so they aren't counted
Read all articles once to start
Articles you save from now on are recorded automatically, but links in your existing articles need to be read once. Press "Read all articles and build the map" at the top of the screen. It reads 40 articles at a time and shows its progress.
If you edited articles while the plugin wasn't active, or rewrote many at once with another tool, press "Read all articles again" to bring the map up to date.

In the article list, each article shows inbound links (how many articles link to it) and outbound links (how many links it has). Press "+ Show links" to see which articles link to it and with what words, and where it links to.
- Filter by Orphan articles to list only articles nothing links to. Adding one link from a related article lets readers and search engines reach it
- Filter by Articles with no internal links to find dead ends
- Sort by most inbound links, fewest inbound links, most outbound links, or newest. Use "most inbound links" to check that links gather on your pillar articles
- If a linked article has gone back to draft or into the trash, you'll see "The linked article isn't published"
Inbound links count the number of articles that link in. Two links from the same article count as one, because a single article linking many times would make the number look larger than it is. Links from draft articles aren't counted, since readers can't see them.
Recent changes
At the bottom of the screen, links that were added or removed are listed, newest first. When you delete a link by editing the text by hand, it shows up here too. Links found during the first full read already existed, so they aren't listed as added.
Download as CSV
"Download as CSV" saves every internal link currently in place in a format spreadsheets can open. The columns are source, source URL, anchor text, target, target URL, and date found. It opens in Excel without garbled characters.
