Getting Started (your first 5 minutes)
The screen that appears right after activation. It lists only the steps each edition needs and walks you through to your first article draft
You start here right after activating
When you activate Sorabun, the "Getting Started" screen opens automatically (you can also open it from the menu under "Sorabun > Getting Started"). Only the steps each edition needs are listed, and finished steps collapse. In about 5 minutes, your first article draft starts moving.

What to do at each step
- License key / key ... Enter the key that arrived in your email at purchase (or trial sign-up), then click "Activate." You can also check it on My Page.
- API key for the AI that writes articles ... This is the only key you truly need. We recommend Gemini, since it has a free tier. Right after you enter it, Sorabun makes one round trip to confirm it works. Even if that round trip fails, the key is still saved, so fix whatever caused the error and click it again.
- Three things about your site ... What the site is about, who you want reading it, and what you want your articles to achieve. From then on, your articles are written for that reader (this turns on Advice mode). You can fine-tune these later in "Site Diagnosis."
- First article ... Enter a single keyword and click "Write this article." A draft is created following your usual settings. It's never published right away. It takes a few minutes, so feel free to move on to another screen instead of waiting.
Reminders while you're partway through
Until Getting Started is finished, no other reminders appear (license warnings, menu clean-up, invitations to run Site Diagnosis). Only a single banner shows at the top of the admin screen, saying "Getting Started: ◯ steps left." On Pro, if your license isn't activated yet, it also adds "Pro features stop in ◯ days."
If you'd rather not set this up right now, click "Later" at the bottom of the screen. The banner disappears, but it stays available under "Start here" on the dashboard, so you can pick up where you left off anytime.
For Cloud edition users
If you installed the plugin using the installer (a small ZIP file) and entered your key there, the key is already set. This screen shows that step as "Done," so all that's left is the three things about your site and your first article.
